We welcome all to
worship with us. After service a social time for fellowship and refreshments
is held in Ober Hall. First Church is located in the beautiful seacoast town
of Kennebunkport in Southern Maine. Enjoy God’s love in action by visiting
our worship service and getting to know us.
Our church history started in 1730
when Kennebunkport was known as Arundel and part of the Massachusetts Bay
Colony. Since then, the church was burned, rebuilt near its present location,
and later moved to where it now stands. A group branched off and established a
new church in the present center of Town. The oversized church was torn down and
rebuilt smaller, and has since been enlarged. After 75 years with part time
pastors we now have a outstanding full time pastor and we are experiencing
growth. We hope that you will consider growing with us in fellowship, worship
and faith.
